Chaas Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chilled water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the yogurt, water, cumin seeds, black salt, chaat masala, black pepper, coriander, green chili and sugar, if using.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the chaas into two glasses.
  4. Garnish with a sprinkle of chaat masala and chopped fresh coriander.
  5. Serve immediately.
